Joel was commissioned to create the beautiful seed pod of the Lotus Lily, a familiar form of Top End wetlands. Installed in The Quarter, one of Darwin’s dining and entertainment precincts, this sculpture of wood and metal incorporates a shallow water fountain element. Water pools and trickles over the Lily pad base.
