Title: African Mahogany Seed Pods

Format: Commission Installation 2019

Location: Darwin Middle School, Northern Territory

Carved from African Mahogany felled during Cyclone Marcus. This tree was planted by students 60 years ago. The scattered seed pods symbolise the growing, nurturing and releasing of life to the next generation. This tree has been honoured and embedded into the Architecture of the school through Public Art, tables and seating for the enjoyment and inspiration of many generations to come. .
